Murray brings to MediDirect® over 26 years of senior executive experience in the Financial, Technology, Medical, Aviation, Manufacturing and Distribution industries. He has held numerous directorships and executive positions on Boards of Directors and in Management and has guided companies through change management in these various positions. He has written articles and provided seminars on Human Resource Management and Benefits, Corporate Sustainability, Enterprise Risk Management and Governance and Succession. Murray received the 2000 Distinguished Service Award from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Alberta, was a member of an Executive Team which received the 1998 Entrepreneur of the Year Award, Special Recognition Category and was also a 1988 Gold Medalist in the Chartered Accountants Provincial Taxation Exam. Murray’s vision is to alter the way benefit programs are provided to allow employees to manage their health and wellness while assisting corporations and organizations in managing their benefit costs.

Debra brings to the MediDirect® team over 28 years experience in the field of human resources and benefits administration, working in a variety of industries, such as banking, food retailing and oil and gas.
Debra’s wealth of benefits administration provides her with invaluable knowledge and experience of how traditional benefits perform, and how a MediDirect® plan can improve on that. Her administrative experience serves her well in ensuring that all matters relating to clients are handled promptly and efficiently.
Ron Pitt, B.Sc.
Ron has over 25 years of experience as an economist and has been involved in benefit-cost analysis, commercial feasibility, and cost-of-service analysis. He is often the first contact for clients seeking information on how a PHSP can benefit their company. Ron also ensures that all claims are adjudicated and processed correctly with a high degree of accuracy.
MAST Award 2005
MediDirect® Inc. was awarded one of several MAST Awards in 2005. MAST is an acronym for management and staff transformation, with the MAST Award using the same acronym for Management And Staff Team Award. More than that, it names a bold initiative aimed at establishing Calgary as an international model for generating business success through synergism. The MAST philosophy begins with the premise that the best companies are those able to articulate the vision of the CEO across the counter at the employee to customer level. Staff enthusiasm is the strongest lever to corporate success. This is the core of the MAST philosophy.
